Who we are
Jenna Pike and Owen Marlow met at a big regional firm, decided the clients they liked were the ones the firm liked least, and left in 2009 to look after them properly. There are fourteen of us now. The clients are still the same kind of people.
- Jenna PikeFounder. Accounts, tax and the awkward conversations.
- Owen MarlowFounder. Succession, wealth and anything with a five-year horizon.
- Priya RamanPayroll. Has never missed a pay day.
- Callum DeeksTax. Reads the legislation so you do not have to.
- Hannah OseiBookkeeping lead. Runs the monthly close for sixty clients.
- Tom WhitbyClient manager. The person who replies when you write.
How we work
Every client has one named person who knows the business and answers. Prices are fixed and quoted up front, and they do not change when you ring with a question. We use whichever bookkeeping software you already have, and if you have none we will set one up and show you the three buttons that matter.
We are open Monday to Friday, and Owen does a Saturday morning once a month for the people who cannot leave the shop in the week.
Work with us
We take on one trainee a year and hire qualified people when a client base outgrows a desk. Nobody here works past six, study is paid for, and you will meet the clients rather than just their spreadsheets. If that sounds right, send a short note about yourself to the address below. No agencies.
